Vasti Jackson

I photographed a series of portraits and live moments of the legendary blues musician Vasti Jackson — GRAMMY-nominated artist, Mississippi Cultural Ambassador, and one of the most charismatic performers in contemporary blues. The images were captured at the Lagodekhi Blues Festival, where Vasti Jackson performed as the headlining act. In this series, I wanted to convey his emotional intensity, stage presence, musical depth, and the unmistakable energy he brings to every performance.
